Hi, it's Joshua Lester.
There has been alot of fuss, about my objections to Christian children
participating in Halloween.
Well, Romans 14:16 explains my position.
It doesn't matter what you do, there are evil origins to this day, so
no matter what we do to try to clean it up, the evil origins are still
there.
Here's Romans, 14:16.
"Let not your good, be evil spoken of."
I could go to a bar, and just buy a soda, but the onlookers wouldn't know that.
They'd think I was buying alcohol, because that's what everyone else, does.
That's why I don't go to bars.
I don't want my good, to be evil spoken of.
That's why I avoid worldly activities.
Halloween should be viewed in that same light.
This is just my oppinion, that probably doesn't mean much to you, but
this is why I object to it so harshly!
Next time you think about it, just remember Romans 14:16.
Blessings, Joshua
