[Faith-talk] Comments

Hello Jenny and everyone,

The delivery time varies. When I got my first cane from the program
last year, it took about a month, but when I got my second one back in
January, it took a week. I personally like to slide the cane, but have used
both the two-point touch and the sliding methods. Whatever works for you,
stick with it.

Hi aMary,

I have ordered a cane from that program. I don't know how long it takes to
get it, and they come with those weird NFB tips that you can't slide on the
ground.

I beg to differ with the opinion that the two touch technique gives you as
much information as sliding it because when you slide it, your cane is
constantly giving you information from the surface you're walking on and
when you do the touch technique, you're only getting the information from
the two times that you touch the ground.

Unfortunately though, I can't afford anything else.

Oh well, such is my lot in life I suppose.
