Hello and good day to you all, my fellow Christians and saints of Elyon. Here are today's quotes. Be blessed as you read them.

Faith helps us to accept what we cannot understand.

Faith connects our weakness to God's strength.

True wisdom begins and ends with God.

We are beautiful masterpieces designed by God. (quote compiler's comment: For proof of this, if you can find this book in an accessible format, read "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" by Philip Yancey and Dr. Paul Brand. It's somewhat heavy on the medical side, but it's well worth the read if you can get past the medical lingo).

Compassion offers whatever is necessary to heal the hurts of others.

Don't let smaller things distract you from the bigger work of God around the world.

God, give me work till my life shall end and life till my work is done.

Christlike love is seen in good works.

For the follower of Jesus, death means Heaven, happiness and Him.

When wealth is gone, little is lost; when health is gone, something is lost; but when character is gone, all is lost.

And there you have it for today. I hope and trust that you enjoyed reading, reflecting and pondering on these thought-provoking pearls of wisdom.

Are any of you aware of an email list primarily devoted to the prolife cause? The undersigned would like to join such a list that is Christian in nature but nondenominational in scope. Please email me off list at oilofgladness47 at gmail.com if you know of one. Thanks. It just may be that, God willing if I can get a ride to the annual March For Life in Washington DC this year, January 23, that I might be able to connect with a fellow list member. Thanks for any help you can give.

And now until tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be presented, I remain your obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly existence, died to pay for your and my sins and now lives forever to bring us His salvation and peace, Paul Barnabas.
