Hello all of you on this Lord's Day. I hope that, by God's matchless grace and His providential care, that you had a peaceful and restful sleep last night and, when you go out to your local Christian house of assembly, that you will get a good word from the Lord as imparted to you by your pastors and/or Sunday school teachers. More importantly, I hope and pray that you and your fellow congregants and students will apply what you have heard and learned to your individual lives as the gracious Holy Spirit enables. And now for today's thought-provoking pearls of wisdom for your consideration, pondering and reflection.

When the world around you is crumbling, God is the Rock on which you can stand.

The dearest friend on earth is but a mere shadow compared to Jesus.

Our greatest comfort in sorrow is to know that God is in control.

You can expect to enjoy God's presence when you honor Him with your life.

Jesus came to earth to repair our sin-damaged lives.

Without Christ, we can do nothing. With Him, we can do everything He wants us to do.

Our only hope here below is help from God above.

Only God could create the cosmos out of nothing.

In Christ, God veiled His deity to serve and to save humanity.

Looking for Someone who won't disappoint you? Look to Jesus.

And there you have it for today. I trust that these quotes were a blessing to you.

For those interested and have time, our precious sister Bonnie Armstrong from Toronto will be having her God-led phone conference today beginning at 3 p.m. eastern and continuing until all callers have had their say. It's just a weekly time to kick back and talk about whatever is on your mind. So, if interested, please call the following number and code to get into the conference: 712-432-3066 and, when prompted enter code number 976895 and you should be there. Like-minded Christian believers will join her, as will the undersigned. So until then or tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be presented, I remain your obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to bring us His salvation and peace, Paul Barnabas.
