[Faith-talk] comparison of versions of the Bible

the rsv actually was and is rather widely used  as it is one of the 
translations thatis used interdenominationally. It used to be the 
text widely used in seminaries and while it has been replaced by the 
NRSV in many cases, it is still a good and solid Bible translation.
