hi friends
not sure what happened to the previous message i just sent a few minutes 
ago. i had the intentions of updating you all on curtis's surgeryand 
our prayer needs.

anyway, ere we go again...

on may 15, curtis will be in fairfax va hospital to have his open heart 
surgery to replace his damaged valve. we will be at the hospital around 
6-30/7 a.m so surgery will take place at 9-30 a.m. the dr. will have 
to open up his chest. the surgery lasts usually 3/5 hours unless 
complications arise or the dr. decides to fix anything else with his heart.
the reason i mention this is that he could loose too much blood, have 
bleeding issues, or his heart may have problems etc. also, his dr. had 
noted that he has 2 graphs that have become acluded. this means they 
have closed for one reason or another. not sure if the dr. will decide 
to take care of that problem or not.
after surgery, he will be in icu for at least 1/3 days and then to 
regular room for 3/5 days. curtis of course is very nervous because 
this time it does sound a ltittl more scarier, especially coming out of 
surgery etc.
please pray with us that te surgery goes exceedinly well, that there no 
complications during and after surgery, that his pain is not too bad, 
tat recovery is much easier than expected. pray for god's hands of 
wisdom healing and guidance be upon each dr and nurse and orderly tat 
help curtis. please pray for curtis to just feel god with him at all 
times!!
also, please pray for me. i still have tons of tings to get ready 
before surgery. we still need to figure out the best way of babysitting 
for the kids. we have several ideas floating, but no one has said i do 
on anything just yet. i need to know soon so i can plan accordingly!!!!
please just keep us in prayers. pray as god leads you to pray and pass 
this to everyoe you know who will pray. god answers prayers and we know 
tis!!!!
