yes, the civil rights movement stemmed from faith beliefs.
Christians have no rights? Oh my.
Where are you hearing these things? This is the first I've heard this one
and I know many types of christians.

I have heard that as Christians we have no rights, but yet in the Civil
Rights movement, so much, at least in the beginning was faith based. And
there are wonderful examples of Christians who were willing to stand up and
be counted as standing for the rights of others. And even now, there are
certainly Christians who get involved with political groups because of
abortion, etc. But why is it that when Christians with disabilities want to
make things better for tmemselves and other folks with disabilities, it is
so often viewed as wrong. I don't quite get that. It just seems like there
