[Faith-talk] blind sence child birth.

You know I find that sometimes we are looking for stuff at church to fulfill
things that are outside of the Bible. Sometimes we want to find meaning
through a position at Church to help reinforce our self worth, we want
companionship to address our loneliness, and we want a message that is to
our liking like a particular dish at a restaurant. It is different from just
coming with an open heart saying, God I just want to be in your house, be
near your children, come together to pray and praise your name, open my
heart God, look into my life and examine it, see if there be any wicket way
in me like King David cried. None of these things depend on other people; it
is not a selfish act, or a salad bar experience. I have been to back wood
churches where the preacher would be laughed at by some big preachers, I've
been to Asian services where I could hardly understand the broken English, I
have followed a pastor who was so nervous and lost his train of thought over
and over, I have been to the name it and claim it house, I can't remember
what I missed out on when I look back, who didn't greet me, if I wasn't
asked to speak or if the Pastor just passed me by, I was there to give
myself to God, not to see what that place could do for me, they were just as
bad off as me, but trying to live by faith in their own flawed way.
Sometimes we sound like the children of Israel in the desert who grumbled to
Moses at every turn about how difficult and uncomfortable the road was, and
all the time God was with them, he had just delivered them from bondage just
like he has us, just as he talked with Moses, he now talks to us through his
word, we are really and truly blessed my friends.
