None of us do.  Our flesh wants us to get defensive, get angry, feel 
hurt,back away.  But over the years even though I did the same things you 
are doing now as far as feeling criticized or believing I was being critized 
(even though many times I wasn't) that the joy of the Lord is my help and my 
strength.  Just keep asking God what to do trusting and believing He will 
show you.

I don't take resistance very well at all and I tend to back down as
resistance may mean god may not want me to do something or whatever.
I just don't like resistance I am not a strong person at all    I feel
there is not much for me my family has not brought me up to fight as a
fighter they tell me to sit back almost. an organization is looking
for a job for me but they said that they will call me when they have a
job or a fit for me that is way it has been left.
