Hello and happy Resurrection Sunday to you all. Oh yes, I know that most people use the name "Easter" which is all right by me, but I personally prefer the term Resurrection Day. I hope that the day is more than just coloring Easter eggs, participating in an Easter egg hunt or just showing off your spring finery.
And now what you've been waiting for, the weekly Bible game. I hope that you retrieved your biblical thinking caps. Last week we were in the New Testament, and this week we will be in the Old Testament. Remember, all I need is book and chapter, not the verse, on which this poem is based. Are you ready? Well, ready or not here we go.
Set on a pot, with the choicest therein.
City and people must perish for sin.
Prophet now suffers the loss of his mate;
This is a type of Jerusalem's fate.
And there you have it for this week. As always, if you don't come up with the correct book and chapter on which this poem is based by Tuesday, I'll give you the correct answer. With God and His Holy Spirit guiding you, good guessing!
And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Lord willing, tomorrow we will resume our Daily Thought messages. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
