Nice to know I'm not the only lost soul.  Oh, wait! My soul's not 
lost, just my body from time to time.  Lol.  My mom has a very 
cruddy sense of direction, too.  I actually have had to give her 
directions.  But it was in a place I had lived for a long time, 
and had ridden the bus, and they announced streets and all, and I 
just memorized.  My husband says when I'm really tired, in a huge 
hurry or really stressed my orientation goes out the window.  I 
had a friend once who told me she always knew when I was tired or 
depressed because my orientation even in places I am familiar 
with, goes bye bye.  Oh well, this too shall pass, right?
