[Faith-talk] a distressing book

Hi again --
I forgot to mention that there are some books, such as the one mentioned at
the beginning of this thread, that are indeed disturbing. I also have seen
shows claiming to be documentary, about books found in the dead sea scrolls.
I never can watch anything on tv that I trust implicitly, no matter who puts
it together.
Especially when it covers something controversial like religion. One thing
is that i am very picky about bible movies and historical fiction.
It never matches what is written, and what is written differs with the
translation.
It's interesting. Movies never match the original story and sometimes the
changes are crazy.
This is especially annoying when the book it is based on is scripture. It's
like a deliberate lie, in the name of artistic expression.

Well, enjoy your year end.
Watch out for those sighted drivers that don't watch where they are
going...;)
Blessings.
