[Faith-talk] What is an "old soul?"

Firstly for the argument of population (I swear we had this conversation before?):

You have to take into account the possibility of infinite other worlds with other types of being, even in other dimensions possibly. It’s a narrow view to think that this world is the only one with life, and life via a soul. There are other explanations as well that delve into non-duality, but I won’t go into that unless you want me to.

Regarding DNA and such, I don’t think this explains the phenomenon. There are children who clearly remember a past life. Those details have been tracked back to an actual person some decades prior, with no genetic relation to the child. Examples of this are countless, and in fact I believe there’s a book on it, because a researcher made it his life’s work to find such cases and study them at length.
