[Faith-talk] Church

Justin,
I agree. God gave us different gifts and if you feel uncomfortable leading
in church then you don't need to.
You should be able to go to the service, sing and praise with the
congregation and leave if you want.
Don't feel obligated to give to any ministry or board if you don't want to.
I do believe you should tithe though if you can afford it, if you're a
member.

Agreed, however, I don't think it is fair to have to entangle myself in the
different ministries or boards if I don't want to. Can't I just go to
church and sing and praise and enjoy the word if I want? I'll pay for lunch
every now and then or gas or whatever. But also, I really didn't have the
funds to do what I wanted in that regard. I would rather an even trade to
be honest; can't stand feeling as if someone is giving and not getting.
However, I don't want to have to serve in some position just to get a ride
to church.

your absulutely right. We know exactly when our ride is coming and we do our
best to be ready. I think it is wrong to attend or join a church if you
don't expect to find a way to give back to that body of believers. I don't
want to be just someones ministry. The lord expects mor from us than that.
