Hello and good day to you all. For those of you who celebrate or commemorate it on this day, Happy Father's Day if you either are a father or have a living paternal parent.

Last week were in the New Testament as far as the weekly Bible game went, and this week we will be in the Old Testament. I hope that you have your thinking caps on, because here we go. Remember that all I need for an answer is book and chapter, not a particular verse. Ready or not, here we come.

Get understanding and let sin not go;
She will preserve you and help you to grow.
Cling to instruction, for she is your life;
Place not your foot in the pathway of strife.

Again, this is one that I would guess the book title correctly, but the chapter? Well, I would have to guess, if one of you were running this God-led Bible game. Good guessing!

And now to the announcement that I mentioned in the subject line of this email. Actually I sent it to a number of you last week, but after doing so I realized that it was probably too late, so here it goes again.

Do any of you reading these lines long to attend a Sunday evening service in its entirety online because your church doesn't have one? Well, if that is your desire, you're in luck. The Sight Seer Radio Reading Service from Grand Rapids MI has both the morning and evening Sunday services from the LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church in downtown Grand Rapids. Although a week late, it is nonetheless worth listening to. The evening service begins at 6 p.m. eastern time every Sunday. If it be your desire to listen, point your browser to
http://www.thesightseer.org.
Click on the button that says "Listen" (without the quote marks), and you should hear it. I'll be there, and would enjoy the pleasure of your company in my pew, if only vicariously.

And now until tomorrow when, Lord willing the Daily Thought messages will be resumed, may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively in these last days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
