Hello and good day to you from a rainy Baltimore, most of Maryland and at least 18 counties in Pennsylvania. I hope that you all are doing well and that, if you live in the areas mentioned, that you are coping with the rain. Unfortunately I have several areas in my basement that have several puddles of water, but I'm sure that can be alleviated in time.
OK, are you ready for today's Bible game? Hope You have your Bible thinking caps on now. Last week we presented a little poem from the Old Testament, and today it will be from the New Testament. Remember, I need the book and chapter only on which this poem is based. Here we go and, as the Lord leads, good guessing.
If consolation be present in Christ,
Walk in accord, doing nothing through strife.
Christ's reputation, he counted not dear.
Work out salvation, with trembling and fear.
And there you have it for this week. As always, if no one comes up with the correct answer by Tuesday, I'll give you the answer then.
And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
