Greetings.

I wish to unfeignedly express my heartfelt mourns to the familys of those who were murdered and wounded in the terrific rampage of Santa Barbara.

A young man named Elliot Roger murdered six including himself and wounded seven people last Friday night, when he recklessly opened fire in Isla Vista at the campus of Santa Barbara.

Sheriff Bill Brown called him a madman.

CNN posted a video that is allegedly believed to be belonged to the suspected individual.

I saw the video on Youtube.

The guy seams to be quite ubnormal, and he tremendously suffers from a heavy psychological trauma.

I am afraid, but I will not be able to share the link to the video here, since it contains irreverent remarks that it might be offensive to some people.

You can always go to Youtube and watch it yourself if you would like to.

My scrutiny here takes a different approach.

It seams to me and Allah certainly knows better, that such shooting incidents became a significant phenomenon in the states.

I am sure they were around since awhile, but they recently became more periodic to the extent of being plainly recognized.

In this editorial, I will inshallah
attend to scrutinize and analyze the common motivations for such incidents, so we may potentially avail eliminating their reoccurrence.

1; Explicit violence in some movies and in the media.

The media now is predominantly occupied with violent scenes which directly sustains the negative courage as well as the motive and particularly for young people to attempt imitating what they tend to watch.

2; The absence of parental supervision.

With the constant adaptation of lifestyles in the United states, the west in specific, and the world in general, our children will probably look for other resources from which they can gain guidance and behavioral reflection.

We must distinctly emphasize on the critical importance of both the maternal as well as the paternal care.

The temporal life should not keep us away from our kids.

We have to always be aware of what they watch, who do they make friends with, where do they go, and how their minds grow.

3; Weapon acquirement crisis.

Who is licitly licenced to possess a weapon?

I think it is a quite valid question to ask.

Weapon possession can really be threatening to people, and especially, if they are possessed by those who demand desperate psychotherapy treatments.

4; The grave absence of religious consciousness.

Religion can possibly be practiced in houses of worship whilst being utterly separated from the practical life which is dominantly the case in the vast majority of the western world.

Religion should not and it cannot be a merely symbolic gesture.

Religion has to be thoroughly ingrained in the minds and the practical life of people.

Speaking about love at houses of worship whilst vigorous turmoils are out there causing riot is basicly a sense of blasphemy.
You should go out there and cure those who are captured by states of psychological misfortunes.

The United states suffers from that radically escalated rampage since quite awhile, and it is worsening on a continual basis.

We saw the similar incident happened back in 2012 Aurora shooting, followed by the elementary school of Connecticut, and here we are confronted with a quite similar incident of Santa Barbara.

Who should be held accountable?

I believe that the whole society should be held accountable.

The President previously spoke about such criminal actions, but neither him nor the Congress have done a significant job to slightly eliminate the threat of vicious cycle to such horrific incidents, which is quite possible, if both the motive and the instrument are easily obtained.

The crime is developed by the motivating factor, which is the hostile disposal to be engaged in such actions, along with the instrument that makes it easy for the criminal person to proceed on his transgressive behavior.

The latter has to be regulated by constituting serious legislations which strictly prohibits acquiring a weapon without a licitly proper cause.

But for someone to go and buy a gun from the store or to even own it illegitimately is quite insane.

The Congress must pass a legislative act that prevents acquiring weapons for those who are maturely incompetent.

Thank you for reading, and have a pleasant time.

Seeking to have a better world, peace.
