Vedas 

            he wished he could remove. There were many things about the 

            Christian faith he did not understand, said he, and some he did
not 

            like. But, he said, the most powerful truth in the Christian
Gospel 

            is unmatched anywhere else: It is the cross of Jesus Christ.
