[Faith-talk] What is God teaching you now?

Hello folks, I hope everybody is doing well. I noticed that the list has
been quiet and I was thinking about those who I have interacted with on here
over the last year or so. I just wanted to reach out and see what God is
doing in your lives. I think for me I am going through a season in my life
where I really need to embrace the reality of allowing God's time to be the
main thing. I have always been a person who has went ahead and pushed the
door right open and carved my own way, but looking back I can see many times
where I came out on the other end of that path a little more jaded,
disillusioned and tired of another seemingly pointless venture. The times in
my life that have been the most gratifying have been the times where I
really leaned on him, put my hopes energy and attentions on him. So now, I
am attempting to simply wait on him, rest in him, and allow him to be the
light to my path even when time seems to fly right by and I feel the weight
of age, and missed opportunities creating that feeling of anxiousness that
makes me want to move to the left or the right to make a grab at something,
hold on to something so it doesn't slip past, but I want to look strait a
head, listen to him and really do his will in both the small and big things
more faithfully than I feel I have in the past.

I hope to hear what God is teaching you in this season of your lives, and
perhaps some haven't even given it much thought lately, but this may be an
opportunity to do a little soul searching.
