Well folks, here is today's weekly Bible game. Sorry to be late, but I had such a good time eating and fellowshipping with members of my church that, as they say, time just got away from me. I'm sure that, at one time or another, this has happened to each one of us. But it's now time for today's Bible trivia game-poem. Today we're in the Old Testament Scriptures, anywhere from Psalms to Malachi, as I don't have the poem preceding Psalms. Oh well, we do with what we have. I hope you have your biblical thinking caps on because here we go.

Hear me, O Lord, when I come with my prayer.
Answer my pleading; have mercy and spare.
Draw me not down with the wicked who hurt.
Render to them their accepted desserts.

Well, this one would throw me for a loop. I'd probably guess the book based on the context of the poem, but chapter? That would be another story, if someone else was moderating this game. Let's see how well you do.

And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Lord willing, tomorrow we will resume the daily thought articles. Again for you older folks who have children and who in turn also have children, happy Grandparents' Day here in the U.S. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
