I agree with everything you said. I also wish that there were church services at our NFBC state conventions.

But we have to have an ecumenical service because not everyone is nondenominational that attends. I'm Lutheran and though I respect other people's way of doing things and believes, a lot of people would be left out. I don't feel uplifted by hearing testimonies for example. This is more for devotional time. I also personally would appreciate if the devotional time was planned by people of different face rather than focusing just on nondenominational beliefs. May songs were sung that I don't know and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
