This past national convention, we almost did not have Mass for us
Catholics. It was because some people called the National Center
and asked for it. At first we were refused since it was "setup
day" and traditionally there is not Mass on that day. If people
want different church services, you need to ask, let it be known
that it's something important to you. Not every denomination
will probably be able to be represented, but another possibility
is to contact your particular denomination and ask if rides could
be arranged on a one-time basis. Especially if there are only a
few who want a particular denomination. And it would seem that
there could be something you could do at your state convention if
you want to have a church service, or plan to go to an evening
service, though I know those are few and far between these days.
After our state convention, my husband and I went to an evening
Mass. So there are ways to do this, you have to be creative and
let your desires be known. Blessings, Debby
