[Faith-talk] Church experiences

I have had a mixture of experience but so have sighted people. I have found that I was responsible for some of my negative experiences. As I changed, more people accepted me at service, in areas I served, and people have helped me and I have helped them.

I am a celebrate recovery leader, co lead a small group bible study, attend ladies ministry events, and regular Sunday and Wednesday services. I use tools mentioned in previous emails.

I found it difficult to attend where there was more programs yet far from my house. I have found attending right across the street easiest for me to get transportation, attend many days, volunteer, and have been blessed with mutual connection and friendship.

Sincerely, Denise Valkema by iPhone

It is expected that you will either grow in your faith (if it is an honest religion) or submit your whole life to the group (if it is a cult).

I can promise that many of your sighted colleagues are lazy about their Bible study, possibly because it is so easy for them. We have many blessings today that some of us did not have when we were growing up. Bookshare, Optasia, and Bible Gateway are all good sources of information. I thank God that faith cometh by hearing, and that our beliefs are text-based and accessible to the blind.
