Hello Ashley, I wish that I could help. One thing that I would strongly suggest is to try and get your DSS to step up with providing accessible material. This will play a key role in your success, I know that it can be frustrating, but once you get all of the bugs worked out then I think that you will have much smoother waters on this journey. If you don't mind, perhaps you could email me one of the documents that you are having problems with and I can see if there are anything's that I could do to clean it up and then pass any tips your way. My email is heavens4real at gmail.com

Subject: [Faith-talk] accessible Restored Testament bible

Hello,
Hello all,

It would greatly help me to have an accessible copy of the New Restored New Testament.
I’m in a Christianity class and do not have an accessible copy. While I’m a Christian, I thought I’d like to learn more about church history.
My professor said my NIV version would be okay, but actually it is not. I’m missing the nostic gospels in my version as well as the study notes the other students use. I’m afraid I’ll not catch up to the class with my reader since she was sick.
And no, I did not try getting an electronic copy through dss as I have had bad experiences with that; as I’ve said in the past, the pdf files were poor quality with jaws such as broken words and jaws often saying graphic at random times.

So, if anyone knows where I can get a copy, let me know. Maybe coursesmart?
Maybe one of the ministries?
For accessible I can do it in electronic format, braille, or daisy audio.

Here is the text citation.
The Restored New Testament: A New Translation with Commentary, Including the Gnostic Gospels Thomas, Mary, and Judas, Willis Barnstone (Norton & Company, 2009)

Thanks.
