Hello and greetings to you all, whether you're at home, attending one
of the two major conventions of the blind here in the U.S.A. or perhaps
traveling to visit family, friends or even on vacation. Statistics say
that about 42 million people will be traveling over our Independence
Day weekend in this country, largely because of low gasoline prices,
unless of course you're traveling via public transportation. Anyway if
you are among those engaged in this activity I pray that the Lord will
see you through, whether traveling to your destinations, enjoying
yourselves there and returning safely to your residences, by God's
matchless grace and His providential care.
Here are today's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.
Although my wife speaks words that are loud and clear, they somehow
reach my ears that are muted and hazy.
Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living
alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning.
Louise Erdrich
And that will do for today. Until tomorrow when, Lord willing more of
the same will be posted, I am your obedient servant of the One who
lived an earthly existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now
lives forever to bring us His salvation and peace, Oil of Gladness.
