Hello to all, and especially hello to my fellow compatriots who are
celebrating the 240th anniversary of our independence politically from
Great Britain. Whatever you are doing today, I pray that it will go
well for you, by God's matchless grace and His providential care.
Here are yesterday's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and
reflection, as they did not seem to go through to the various lists.
People are very open-minded about new things as long as they're exactly
like the old ones. Charles B. Kettering, American inventor, 1876-1968
Knowledge without wisdom is a dangerous choking vine destroying its own
support structure. Glen Dowdy
And that will do it for the quotes. Sorry about the lack of news
tidbits, but I guess you can say that, because of the muggy weather
we've been having lately, that I'm just not up to searching out those
bits of information.
Here is the question; actually, a bit of a perplexing problem. I've
noticed that, in the past three weeks, that every Sunday I've been
getting not only a disconnect from the Internet but also a very
scratchy phone line. The question is: Why on a Sunday? I don't do
anything to tamper with the modem or anything else, and calling the
main number of my ISP, in this case Verizon, doesn't seem to do any
good. If anyone here has experienced this problem could they contact
me privately at

Thanks for any help in this matter. As I see it, my only other
recourse is to call Verizon's number for people with disabilities. It
goes without saying that your prayers about this would be very much
appreciated.
And that will do it for today. Until tomorrow when, Lord willing more
quotes and possibly some news tidbits will be posted, I am your
obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly existence, died to pay
for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to bring us His salvation
and peace, Oil of Gladness.
