Hi Erica, oh yes, I was so afraid of strange dogs that if one
barked at me, I'd grab for the nearest person and hide behind
them. Seriously, I've grabbed perfect strangers before.
Embarrassing. And I could have gotten smacked for it. If there
wasn't a person nearby, I'd freeze in terror. I had this
beautiful little Golden Retriever named Nat. She really wasn't
too distracted by dogs. But I was concerned that my fear would
begin to affect her. So I started calling around to counselors,
and found this lady that did desensitization therapy. It worked.
I don't have that overwhelming fear anymore. Once in a while I
get fearful but then I use the word SUDS which stands for
something which I can't remember anymore. LOL. But I start
thinking of soapsuds and it makes me laugh.

Well, I loved my past guides, and actually a couple of family
pets, but I definitely love our cat. Debby
