Hi Andrew, I don't think a month is long enough to really get 
those skills down so I suggest you try the 3 month program.  Then 
when you finish, show your parents what you can do by actively 
participating in doing things to help out in the house.  If they 
see you doing things independently, then that will go far in 
helping them to see that you might be able to be out on your own.
