Hello and greetings to all my cyber readers on this Saturday. Of
course, you in New Zealand will be in your Sunday before too long, but
the rest of us just have to wait our turn for this day to come up in
our respective time zones. At any rate I hope that your day is going
well as you read this message, by God's matchless grace and His
providential care.

Here are today's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.

We have to be continually jumping off cliffs and developing our wings
on the way down. Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (quote compiler's queery: Can
anyone explain to me what he means by this, as I am cluleless to its
meaning? Thanks in advance).

Decide on what you think is right and stick to it. George Eliot

And there you have today's quotes, but stay tuned to the humble prayer
request from your obedient servant of the Lord.

I'm going to try my best to be diplomatically tactful here, something
that I'm not very good at it. First the request is not for me, but for
a very good brother in the Lord. He lives in the northern Virginia
suburbs of Washington DC, and he wants his medical insurance company to
lower their price on a particular medication he receives for a very
painful condition. For him the price of this particular med is
extremely expensive. Please pray that God's will be done in his
situation and that he will receive the proper treatment, which has
helped him in the past very well. On his behalf thanks for your
prayers, as I know that they will be appreciated by him and his family.

And that will do for today. Until later when a timely article will be
posted or until tomorrow when, Lord willing more quotes will be sent
your way, I am your obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly
existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to
bring us His salvation and peace, Oil of Gladness.
