Ericka and all,

I just had another thought.  Ask the publishers if they'd be 
willing to send you the electronic files of the magazines and 
materials you need or want.  Then you can access them on the 
device of your choice, whatever you have and use regularly.

Another thought is that, if there isn't money in a church budget 
to get Goodfeel, for example, ask that a notice be put in the 
church bulletin, and/or on the bulletin board, expressing the 
need for money for this equipment that is necessary for a blind 
person in the congregation to function in ministry.  Or, contact 
your local Lions Clubs.  If you think about it, rather than 
demand things, be creative.  Don't expect your congregation 
always to be giving stuff to you, or getting stuff for you.  Use 
your own resourcefulness where and when you can.
