[Faith-talk] From the Division Constitution

Hi Sarah,
The constitution has never been asked about. I was trying to
explain the purpose of the division to you, and I obviously
didn't do an adequate job. That's why I finally posted the whole
constitution, even though most here are not dues-paying division
members. I was frustrated, as I think I said, because I was
trying to be clear when you asked, and thought I was, and still
you asked because you weren't clear about the division yet. We
have a long history as a division, and I was trying to be brief,
but informative. Obviously I failed miserably.
Of course the NFB does not think it's rude behavior to ask
questions, and neither do I. It was just that it was on top of
all the trouble with people's responsive to Mostafa and David
Andrews' chiming in on our list, and threatening to remove the
list. As the list moderator, I was feeling responsible, and that
I had let you all down.
Please pray for me to have more grace.
Blessings,
Linda----- Original Message -----

Hi, Linda.
Some of us here are new to the division and new to the NFB.
Please give us a
little grace. Your message comes across a little irritably.I
have never seen
a division constitution. Those of us who are asking questions
are not trying
to attack the division or anyone personally. We are simply
asking for
information about what we have become involved with. I am coming
from an
organization where that is an acceptable thing to do. Is that
considered
rude behavior in the NFB?

The Constitution says what all other NFB Division constitutions
say. Being a charter member has nothing to do with anything.

We aren't doing much of that. So many of us on this listserv
aren't charter members and don't know Linda. Thank you. What
else does the constitution say?
