On My Heart for a Long time

I've been thinking about listers here lately. One common thing is that at
some point in our lives we have really struggled to be a part of a family
church family. One of the cool things that my boyfriend and I are going to
do October 9 is to do a question and answer period during the coffee time
after the service. We are hoping that Pastor can find people with other
disabilities so it's more of a panel discussion. Yes October is meet the
blind month, but we really don't think it's fair to single ourselves out. We
are not the only people with disabilities in the congregationyes October is
meet the blind month, but we really don't think it's fair to single
ourselves out. We are not the only people with disabilities in the
congregation I'm sure and an older gentleman in a wheelchair joined the same
day. I am certain Randy will join us. I think it's good to have a senior
citizen on the panel. We are also hoping to have someone with a learning
disability, seizures, and at least one parent of a child with a disability
too.

We plan to have somebody video it with their phone so we can post it on both
the church website/Facebook page and other places. Would anyone be
interested in getting the video of what we did?

gone, and still go through times like that. I enjoyed the quote shared that
the pleasure is to do something people thought you couldn't. Well, that
makes me also think of us as blind people. It, especially makes me feel
good to know that I've proved a sighted person wrong.
