well said David that precious relationship of you and Jesus is all 
important. wi;thout him church and everything to do with it is meaningless.

I do not need these experiences that people say they get from a littergical service. The bread and wine are to comemorate the braking of Jesus’s body, and the blood he shed for our sins, but the bread and wine stay that way, they do not change into something that is super natural like this article talks about. I personally can’t wait to listen to the Word of God many times a day. I don’t have to be in church at all, to experience Jesus Christ putting his arms around me, loving me, and seeing him work in my everyday life. I do not even have to go to church to see all of that. Jesus, to me, is someone who works in my life 24/7, not just during communion. I get tears in my eyes reading in the gospels how Jesus was whipped almost to death, blind folded and punched in the face, and finally, nailed to the cross just for me. He rose again, just for me. He would have done all he did just for me. Now to me, that is the greatest experience I can have. I just don’t understand what people are looking for outside of just knowing that Jesus did all of that, personally just for them. I have greater experiences with Jesus, here in my living room, than I have at a building called a church. God’s church is made up of Christians. The building I am in does nothing for me. It is the people around me and giving to them, no matter what kind of experience I am having. I experience the best joy from my personal Lord and Savior 24/7. I don’t get this. I experience the love of Jesus 24/7.

No church is perfect because every church, every faith has human beings attempting to live out their face to the best of their ability. Some of them work harder at it than others! But there are churches out there that are more True to the Bible and more living the faith they preach than others. I don't want you to attend Catholic mass just because it's traditional, you agree with most of its political views, and because you can get a ride. I know you're still trying to establish what you believe. I just want to hug you because I'm sure this is so difficult. We should all be re-examining our faith every once in a while.  I mean checking to make sure that what's in our heart and how we act is still in line with what we believe. Not that we need a congregational change, but that we become spiritually complacent.
