[Faith-talk] Dilemma

Brandon,

All I'll say is that if you did not like the posts here or want something
different, you might ask some of your own questions or pose your own
experiences.

I think the list member causing some controversy already said he'd watch
what he'd say. I think we can move on.
There is always the delete key too if you hate how a particular member
posts. If you feel stuff needs to change, it also is a good idea to voice
your concerns and suggestions to the conference calls monthly. Talking about
it will be much more helpful than emailing.

And, I never saw any backlash against Catholics. If a member states their
beliefs or opinion, its not meant as an attack on Catholics. We should not
take stuff so personally.
I've seen worse on other nfb lists. I've seen personal attacks on many
lists. Sometimes listers on nabs-l will keep telling another member to learn
braille if they ask a question as if this will solve all their issues, even
when the lister explained they have problems learning braille or simply feel
that as an older blind student that braille is not for them for studying due
to the lack of efficiency with it.

I am busy tomorrow but might check and reply to the list tomorrow night.
I hope we can get some new conversations going.

Ashley

Regarding the list, I just have to say that as a non-Christian, I'm super
uncomfortable on this list. If a Catholic can get that kind of backlash from
the list, then what would I, as a Pagan, receive?

i've considered unsubscribing many, many times, and honestly the only reason
i don't is out of stubbornness. I believe this should be an inter-faith
list, including all religions. If I left this list, there would be no voice
for non-Christians.

I agree with some of the others that some boundaries were seriously crossed.
I don't think this sort of behavior should be tolerated.
