Sandra I really thank you for the comment you said. My social work background agrees with you because healing does take time whether it's from abuse as a child or situations as an adult that we cannot ourselves imagine. I'm still trying to put the abuse from my marriage to rest. It's hard to put 15 years away in a Ziploc bag and forgot about it. I know that it was mental health related and him not being able to cope with Aspergers and we chose on good terms to get divorced. Second, I believe that I can learn from everyone. Of course, I grew up in the UCC myself so maybe that's the commonality. My Lutheran Church also encourage us to understand other cultures, other beliefs etc. Not embrace them necessarily but to understand where they're coming from. We just had a marvelous speaker a while back talking about the commonalities between her Muslim faith and our Christian faith.

Everyone:
I apologize to for anything I have said that hurt anyone. I tried my darndest to be non-partisan but sometimes frustration when somebody is hurting others gets me into trouble. And defending others leads me to...spiritual gifts!

Jenny feels that her spiritual talents are expressed by her voice. I don't know about others, but I certainly believe Voice is a talent God gave us to use to share his message. He certainly did not give me that musical talent and I am grateful for all the People he did give that talent to. Mine is more teaching and caring as the gifts of the Holy spirit that I received. What about you? I've taken some spiritual gifts inventories and been kind of surprised at where God sees me and where I see myself.
