Hi Shikha,

As Sarah said, it's not too late to apply for a Jernigan scholarship as a first-time convention attendee, but you must talk to your state NFB president immediately, as letters need to be written and submitted. Just come right out with it with your parents. Explain why you'd like to go, and stress the benefits to you. Bathe it in prayer, and I promise to pray with and for you.

Blessings,

Linda

I was wondering how to tell my parents that i want to attend national convention. I have flied in the past to convention but I don't know how expensive the flight will be. Have you guys had experience with having a free summer. I am probably going to volunteer and take one class. I live in Georgia. By car it is six hours. Is mega bus or train safe to get to Orlando?
