I don't mind the stickers and all, I just was kind of wondering. The kids are definitely bright and very eager to please. We told them that when we see them this summer that we might just pop questions at them. They kind of giggled.

I love your story about your Palm Sunday skirt. LOL. Well, I'm about to fall asleep, so better get out there and take Nova to park. We are heading to my mom's house, should be there tomorrow morning. YEA!    Blessings,    Debby

I think I taught all in all seven or eight years of kids out of the 17 I lived in Kenosha. So many great memories! There's one skirt I just can't get rid of because every time I pull it out I remember the kids calling it my palm Sunday skirt. I think I missed wearing it one year only after they named my skirt! It had palm fronds on it but it wasn't obvious to others but those kids noticed! I got called out forgetting it by one of the girls from the class who named it. She was in eighth grade. Apparently we have more of an impact than we think sometimes!

But when people see that we make an effort for ourselves, they're a lot more willing then to reach out and accept us. I think that if we act like helpless blind folks that's how we'll be treated. I didd't like the first parish I attended in Portland, and happened to meet someone who took me to her parish, which I really liked. So I eventually moved to that part of Portland so that I could go to that parish. It was a great place for me. But it didn't happen easily or all at once. Well, ow'd best go now, I've probably offended many of you, and I'm sorry if I have, but in all honesty I don't regret having said anything that ow said.    Blessings,    Debby
