Subject: [Faith-talk] Facebook administrator has job interview

Chad Nelson, our NFB communities in faith FB administrator, has a job
interview Thursday morning in Madison. Please keep him in prayer as this job
is a perfect fit for him and would be a walk to work until they move the
office on the west side of town which will still be a very easy bus ride.
Not many state jobs in Wisconsin come with benefits anymore but this one
does. 40 hours a week at $15 an hour with benefits is definitely a gift from
God these days for anyone, especially a blind person.

Thank you! I am also proud to say that he is very close to finishing his
time at Blind Inc. the Minneapolis training center.

Any well wishes can be sent to wi9hf at att.net. Please do as it would mean a
lot to him.

I just started a couple weeks ago and it's been a bit overwhelming but I'm
getting a hang of things. We even found a church very receptive to having
blind people active in the congregation. They are working on making the
bulletin more accessible and we've only attended once! There are great
congregations out there folks. In fact, our pastor has had a tour of Blind
Inc. here in Minneapolis so she knows all about the program! The Minneapolis
Synod office is within walking distance from the center and I think my first
address my teacher will send me on is to go there. He already threatened
once! Our staff are very supportive of peoples interests and are not afraid
to share their faith. It's really neat!
