First, it seems my query stirred up a bit of a hornet’s nest—and for that, I apologize, because, obviously, that was not my intent. Second, I believe part of what happened was that I should have been more specific—suggesting, perhaps, that Brandon, myself and whoever else conduct ongoing discussions about this and other non-blindness-and-faith areas off-list—that is what I did intend.

Second, totally off that topic, but no less sincere: Erika, I am so happy the BLIND Inc. program is working out so well for you and Chad, and I will pray for his upcoming interview. I especially like that the staff is receptive to incorporating faith matters into their curricula for those who do practice something; years ago, that may not have been the case.

Finally, Linda, thank you for the voice of wisdom—we really do walk a tightrope here sometimes;, and I try to make it a practice to proof my emails not only for typos but also to censor whether points really should be brought up in this forum, and to determine whether I’m meaning what I’m saying and saying what I’m meaning.

If anyone knows of faith-based lists for blindness and/or autism with very broad ranges of topic, please send me (perhaps others who are interested) the info—I’m guessing on-list would be okay?
