Subject: Re: [Faith-Talk] Ramadan and other ramblings

Good evening,

I saw this email and thought I may give an overview of what Ramadan is. If
this brings up any questions, feel free to ask. I would like to say that I am
only one perspective and I will share the best information I have learned .

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar During the month, there
are prayers, reflection, and fasting. Fasting starts at dawn and ends at
sunset. Fasting is for those who are able to do so. The reading of the Quran
is usual during the month, or at least read more intensely during the month of
Ramadan.

Salam,

Kaden
