[Faith-Talk] serving and connection

We all could relate how Andrew feels so it’s not hard to try to help. I have a coworker that has speech issues along with blindness and developmental disability so I totally get where he’s coming from to some extent. Distance doesn’t help us and not being able to hear them speak Either.

I also appreciate all the great things people have said. I personally held back so that you guys can give great resources because I know you guys are a wealth of knowledge. I have had a fight with the driver who insisted on putting my seatbelt on for me. Once they got back in the car, I unlocked it and put it back on. Take me off more than anything. One driver told my husband that he legally had to put his seatbelt on for him. He called up the company and reported it and that person no longer drove after that.

Andrew, these people care about you. I know it’s hard to accept some things, but these people are not trying to criticize. Accepting criticism is one of the things you’ve got to practice to be able to advocate for yourself. And by the way as much as we all wish, having to advocate for yourself is never going to end until you pass away and go to God where he knows, why he made you the way he did.

I volunteer at my church by setting up and tear down for every single event that we host at are church and love it. You can reach me on my cell which is:

I have an idea maybe if all of us are on one of these chat sites like out of sight or blind café maybe inviting Andrew in a room so we can all have a discussion with Andrew and try to help him and encourage him or zoom would work. Just a thought and a idea.
