[Faith-Talk] The 2024 Election

Hi, Christopher,
I bring it back to Romans 14, where Paul teaches us how to do this. Bcak then, they were dealing with what they could eat, and what festivals to celebrate, but the same training in how to get along with one another, in spite of our differences, holds true.

Are these discussions really needed in the context of this list? Faith
and religion will lead people to different political answers in our
fractured society and political context. The current election is not
about blindness in faith and religion. Personally, given the amount
this comes up with clients in therapy sessions and with members of
congregations that I preach in, I am trying to limit and control the
amount of content I am exposed to otherwise about the election. The
divided nature and rhetoric are not helpful, and these threads in this
group are not beneficial in that regard.

Vance definitely is classier than Walz, and a supporter of Israel. I agree with you that Trump did fulfill his promises, and I never heard him say Hitler was his hero.
