Thank you for the great list JOY! I can’t speak for other churches disability offices, but I know that that’s one thing that Elca is very lacking. You can get a braille or large print hymnal but that’s about it. The women’s magazine, gather is not in any kind of Accessible format. There is an app for it but it’s not very accessible and you have to have a subscription to the magazine before you can use it. I have had numerous conversations with some of the Office people and they know nothing about blindness. They think everybody has technology and churches can just Mail information and everyone can follow along with their Braille displays. That really ticked me off because not everybody needs a braille display. Everybody has their own preferences. Well, the new person actually is friends with our pastor and she’s fantastic. There still isn’t a whole lot out there. Christ in our home which is our devotional kind of like our daily bread is in nice large print.

Also, there is the Lutheran Braille Evangelism association in Minnesota. I don’t know the contact information anymore, but you can get handheld Bible things that Bible couriers that’s what they are and both Braille and large print materials. They have a magazine called the Braille messenger and there’s another magazine in large print.
