Hello Marion,

Oh I do agree with your position and the comparison to tax exemptions etc.
I just wonder how we can deal with the owner trainer issue. Yes, Martin
County is clueless when it comes to their understanding of the correct term
guide dog compared to Seeing Eye dog. I figured I didn't want to draw
attention to it because I didn't want issues being an owner trainer. We
will probably be moving to Okeechobee county soon so I can find out what
their ordinances are. when their licenses expire. I actually licenses both
Walker and Orsa as guide dogs. I was going to change Orsa's to spayed
chipped female but they said they would leave it as guide dog because that
is what she is. I asked if I could register two and they said sure. They
have been very nice and considerate. I hope I find the same in Okeechobee
county.

I do wish that service dog and guide dog were two different catagories since
the jobs are different but I won't argue with them about it. I figure just
let sleeping dogs lay.  hahaha

JODY
