If you have heard about our fundraiser described in the message below and have not decided if you are able to attend or even volunteer, it is important that you contact me or Kathy Roskos before Wednesday, February 24th so that we have a count to plan our grocery list.

The Gainesville Chapter of the NFB of Florida is holding a chili fundraiser event:

Saturday, February 27, 2010

Time:  3:00pm -5:00pm

Location:First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Fellowship Hall
                  3411 N.W. 83rd Street
                  Gainesville, Florida  32606

Tickets:  $10 each or 2/$15 (Reservation suggested)

The purpose of this event is to promote fun, food, and fellowship.  We will have door prizes too.  Our menu will include chili (Meat/Meatless), Cornbread, Dessert, Water/Iced Tea. 

Proceeds will benefit the chapter to promote activities for blind and visually impaired persons in the community.
