A Message from Governor O'Malley

Image removed by sender.Dear Friends,

Over the past three months, Lt. Governor Brown and I have worked closely with the General Assembly to put Maryland families first with the passage of legislation to improve our environment <http://click.bsftransmit1.com/ClickThru.aspx?pubids=q4ltC0FyKwxyEmBM2h4ElQcXW80sNg4z7dP2orB1XZw%3d&digest=ErXxaX03OcKTAbFNwNmAmg> , make our neighborhoods <http://click.bsftransmit1.com/ClickThru.aspx?pubids=0hIGWqTCl%2bJS7MTovmwxIocImx2wcZmy0P2K53jcmDM%3d&digest=5NW3ktuRODcpovW3m3i0xA> safer, and strengthen the laws against domestic <http://click.bsftransmit1.com/ClickThru.aspx?pubids=sMXzy5mx4Q0pO2dNLviG5VLFfMSIL8dRixCdzC6YN6I%3d&digest=PRDey94%2fGSMLD2FxVN8VWg> abusers.

Our work is not yet done. We are still working to pass legislation that would rationally reregulate Maryland’s energy supply. We are also fighting to keep in-state college tuition affordable for more Maryland families by freezing it at zero percent increase for the fourth straight year and we are continuing to work with the General Assembly to balance one of the toughest budgets in state history.

Putting Maryland families first was our priority when we entered the 2009 Legislative Session, and it remains our priority as we work through this final week.

On Sine Die, April 13 at 7:30pm, I will appear live on MPT to take phone calls and emails live from the State House during the final hours of the 2009 Legislative Session. If you are familiar with Sine Die then you know just how busy it gets down here, but that makes it all the more important that I hear from you.

To submit your question, please visit: MPT <http://click.bsftransmit1.com/ClickThru.aspx?pubids=u8%2bl8T1X0mnVmxtzi4qyPJMJavA17LoFf4Lam%2boazqg%3d&digest=dboraKlRUpakXeS4cwuTbw> or call the show live at: 1-800-926-0629.

Martin O'Malley

Governor
