Hello everyone,

Please feel free to circulate the following message far and wide! If you
have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Hope to see you at a hold'em table on August second!

Melissa

KNFB reading Technologies (the creators of the first totally mobile reading
device) is sponsoring an online "Hold'em" fund raising tournament through
http://www.allinplay.com to benefit the National Federation of the Blind's
Indiana, Maryland and New York affiliates. The tournament will take place
on August 2 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM Eastern time.

Texas Hold'em is a form of poker, and all inPlay is fully accessible to
blind and sighted players. (If you have never played hold'em before, you
can get full instructions and practice on All inPlay before the tournament.
(If you are not currently a member, you will need to sign up for a free
trial of All inPlay in order to play in the tournament.)

The cost is only $20 and the first place winner will receive 20% of the
money collected. In addition, the second place winner will receive 10% and
the third place winner will receive 5% of the money collected. As an extra
bonus, the NFB chapter, affiliate, or division of the first, second, and
third place winners' choosing will receive $250, $150, and $100
respectively. (If the first, second, or third place winners are not NFB
members, then the money will be given to the highest finisher who is a
member.)

The easiest way to sign up for this exciting tournament is to go to the NFB
of New York website,

http://www.nfbny.org/tristate.htm

In order to make things run as smoothly as possible the deadline for
registration is July 30, 2009. We will collect the Email addresses of all
who have signed up and send a link to the tournament table on either July 31
or August 1. That link will be active from 3:00 until 9:00 PM on August 2.
Prizes will only be awarded to those who have signed up in advance, so there
is no point in sharing the link.

Thank you all in advance for making this a great opportunity to have a fun
tournament, win some cash and help the NFB. Also, thank you to KNFB Reading
Technologies for their partnership in this venture.
