TOPIC:  NLS DIDITAL TALKING BOOK PLAYER

 

Yvonne French from the National Library Service for the Blind will be at the
library demonstrating the new NLS Digital Player.  Everyone who attends will
have the opportunity to examine the machine and see firsthand the
functionality of this new player.  You will also have the opportunity to
view a digital talking book.  

Ms. French is the Web Master for the National Library Service.  You can view
their web site at 

www.loc.gov/nls

 

If time permits, we will also be looking at a computer program called Total
Recorder.  Total Recorder allows users to record audio and video media
directly from the internet.
