Healthcare Reform Summit

For Marylanders with Disabilities

with an emphasis on Workers with Disabilities

 

Wednesday December 8, 2010

8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Baltimore, Maryland

Registration deadline: December 3, 2010

 

The Maryland Department of Disabilities and the Maryland Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene invite Marylanders with disabilities, service
providers, state and related personnel to attend a Health Care Reform Summit
on December 8, 2010. 

 

Purpose:  To educate Marylanders with disabilities, family members,
advocates, professionals and state and related personnel about the potential
impact of healthcare reform on individuals with disabilities, particularly
workers with disabilities, and to ensure key stakeholders in Maryland are
aware of potential areas of impact on individuals with disabilities as
Healthcare Reform is implemented. 

 

There is no cost to attend, however space is limited and registration is
required.  Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend and
accommodations are available upon request.  Organizations are asked to limit
their participation to one representative.  Registration information is
posted at www.mdod.maryland.gov.   Location details will be forwarded after
registration.

 

This event funded by Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (CFDA 93.768) awarded by
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
