Dear friends:

I thought I would pass along this information in case anyone is looking
to adopt a pet. I realize that some will quibble with the
characterization of this "poor" fellow, but there is no doubt that he
needs a good home.

Chris

Hello! I thought I'd pass along this email to you all at NFB. Perhaps
you know of a loving family who'd welcome a blind pooch into their life
or a kind person who has compassion for being blind. Please forward to
your staff and any others you think might be able to help find Mark a
well-deserved second chance at life! He's waiting to be adopted at
BARCS downtown (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter). Please tell
folks to act quickly if they are interested. They can email Kat at her
email address below. Thank you so much!!!!!

Poor guy is blind, but full of life....
(Picture attached to email as well)

Mark came into BARCS as a stray. He is so lovable and his
disability doesn't hold him back a bit. He was roaming the streets of
Baltimore; just looking for a friend to hang-out with when a man found
him. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find his owners, and we are
really full at the shelter (aka he needs to get into a rescue ASAP!).
This guy is only 8 years old and active as anything...

Mark loves people and only wants to hang out with people 24
/7. It is so hard to walk by his cage because he is so excited for
attention and just isn't getting adopted. I love this dog!

Name: Mark
Sex: Male
Neutered: yes
Vaccinations: yes
Lovable and big bear: YES!
Healthy: yes, but he appears to be completely blind

If you rescue has room for a gentle man with a slight
disability...please let me know as soon as possible!

Thanks!
